Shotover Jet is the only company permitted to operate in the spectacular Shotover River Canyons. It’s a thrilling ride – skimming past rocky outcrops at close range in your Shotover Jet ‘Big Red’, as you twist and turn through the narrow canyons at breath taking speeds. And a major highlight – hold tight for the world famous Shotover Jet full 360º spins!
Duration / Trip Times
• Allow 1 hour 30 minutes Queenstown return including Jet Boat ride
• ‘Big Red’ Jet Boats depart up to every 15 minutes and operate every day (weather and river conditions permitting) except Christmas day
• Complimentary shuttles depart ‘The Station’ Information Centre (corner Camp and Shotover Streets) up to every 15 minutes
• Self drive – located 7kms from Queenstown
Restrictions
• A minimum child height of 1 metre applies and all children must be accompanied by a fare paying adult
• Should river conditions on the day dictate, Shotover Jet does reserve the right to extend the minimum child height to 1.2 metres to ensure maximum passenger safety
